Adult Education Block Grant
Third Annual Summit 2018

"Together Towards Tomorrow"

January 22-23, 2018
Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City, CA

The AEBG 2018 Summit: "Together Towards Tomorrow" will feature presentations, panel discussions, networking, and the sharing of best practices focusing on working creatively and collaboratively to help ensure that California's adult education students are well prepared for employment and/or further education.

The AEBG Summit 2018 is ideal for the teachers, coordinators and administrators in the network external link of California adult education providers under the Adult Education Block Grant.

The summit will take place on January 22nd and 23rd. Registration will open on November 29, 2017. Registration is $75.00 and limited to 600 participants. You must register online to attend. There will be NO on-site registration.

Consortium Attendee Allotment

Based on the number of agencies per consortium, each consortium will be allowed the following number of attendees:

  • Consortium with 0 – 6 agencies are allowed to bring 5 attendees
  • Consortium with 7 – 10 agencies are allowed to bring 7 attendees
  • Consortium with 11+ agencies are allowed to bring 9 attendees

Consortium Leads will be emailed unique PINs to distribute to their members for registration. Members will have until 5:00 p.m. on January 10, 2018 to register. It is mandatory that each consortium send at least one representative.

A first come, first serve wait list will be created for those consortia in need of additional registration PINs. Consortium Leads are asked to “return” unused PINs. Unused PINS will be put back into a pool for redistribution to those on the waitlist. On December 21st, the AEBG TAP will begin to assign unused PINs those on the waitlist. The cutoff for waitlisted members to register is 5:00 p.m. on January 10, 2018.

Upon proposal approval, each Presenter will be contacted and given a unique PIN to register for the Summit. Each consortium is allowed one Presenter PIN outside of their total allotment. After that, Presenter PINs will count against a consortium’s total allotment. Unused Presenter PINs will be put back into a pool for redistribution to those on the waitlist.

PINS, regardless of type, can only be used once to register for the Summit. One PIN = One Attendee. No PIN = No registration.
